A New Beginning for Foster Children
Worlds Collide Ministries, Inc. is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping foster children find their permanent homes.
Worlds Collide Ministries, Inc. is a family-led ministry with a deeply personal mission. Our founders are Rodney Jason Scott and Luz Damarys Scott, and their children are Roxanne Elizabeth Taylor (27), Christopher Michael Scott (25), Josiah Jason Scott (17), Nathanael Isaac Scott (15), and Ian Daniel Scott (13). The ministry was founded on December 24, 2022, exactly 21 years after Roxanne and Christopher were first removed from their biological parents. This powerful story is the heart of our mission, driving our dedication to ensuring every child in foster care finds a loving, permanent home. Our family's journey is the foundation of our work, and we are committed to helping other children and families navigate the foster care system with care and support.

This photo was taken shortly after Roxanne (age 4) and Christopher (age 2) came to our home, but before we adopted them. They didn't speak English or any other known language, but they had created their own language that only the 2 of them understood. They eventually learned English and have no memory of that language anymore.
Christopher at 2 years old watching Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie at the theater. Between him and his sister, they finished the entire bucket of popcorn. I wish I hadn't cut off his head, but this was done with a non-digital camera and it was only after we developed it that we realized it. But this picture is one in a million.

The Scott kids
Christopher and Roxanne were adopted when they were 4 and 6 respectively. Josiah, Nathanael, and Ian are biological, but they have only ever known Roxanne and Christopher as their siblings. They all love each other like they were all biological.
